CDH-20 type buffer stop is a safety device installed at the end of railway line to prevent vehicles from escaping and hitting the car stopper.
CDH-20 type buffer stop is an improved type of CDH type buffer stop. It has reasonable structure and large braking force. The insertion type connection mode between arm and brake rail is the first in China. It is easy to install, repair and reset.
Main Technical Parameters
1. The total horizontal resistance of the buffer stop : ≥15t
2. The maximum impact speed of the vehicle against the buffer stop :20km / h
3. The height between the center of buffer rubber plate and the surface of stock rail : 850 ± 20mm
4. Total weight: 350kg
5. The taxiing distance of different vehicle weight at different speed is shown in the attached table

Installation methods and requirements
1. The technical conditions of the line shall meet the public works standard, and the track gauge is 1435(+6 -2)
2. The rail stopper should be installed on the last rail at the terminal of the dead end line, near the rail joint and without fish plate. There should be a certain distance between the buffer stop and the terminal of the dead end line. The greater the distance, the better the braking effect.
3. Installation method:
(1) Place the left and right outriggers on the stock rail and connect them with the support with the outrigger pin shaft.
(2) Lift the support arm, and place the spring seat, plate spring and bearing seat on the stock rail under the shoe block in turn.
(3) Clamp the shoe block with the brake rail, clamp the rail head of the stock rail at the same time, and then fasten the brake rail with three bolts. Note that the two outer bolts must pass through the support frame, and the bearing seat should be located in the middle of the pressure hole.
4. Connect the four legs of the lower side of the two arms with the front and rear crossbeams and the upper and lower inclined beams. The overlapping form is shown in the figure. The middle and four corners of the two inclined beams are connected with pin shafts. After the completion of the above initial assembly, tighten the bolts.
5. Install the sign on the support.
6. After each installation, the position mark should be painted on the rail waist to facilitate the daily inspection of whether the car stopper is damaged.
