Basic structure: The hydraulic switch tamper is composed of two parts: running frame and tamping device. The tamping device is composed of oil tank (including internal combustion engine, gear pump, hydraulic control valve), vibration frame and tamping pick.

The oil tank is driven by the lifting cylinder to drive the vibration frame, so that the tamping pick is inserted into the ballast or raised; The ramming pick is driven by the oil cylinder to achieve tensioning or clamping.

The internal combustion engine drives the eccentric iron of the vibration frame by belt to make the vibration shaft rotate to produce vibration, and the ballast stone of the ballast bed becomes dense through the violent vibration of the ramming pick.

The hydraulic line tamper can be used in domestic type II, type III concrete sleeper on the ballast line, can also be used in various foreign concrete sleeper and steel sleeper lines for tamping operations. Working principle: The hydraulic line tamper is powered by the gasoline engine and drives the oil pump and vibration shaft respectively through the triangle belt. The eccentric body rotating with the vibration shaft at high speed generates the exciting force due to the centrifugal force, and the high-pressure oil output from the oil pump enters the lifting cylinder and clamping cylinder through the reversing valve, thus driving the executive components to achieve the clamping rail, lower insertion, clamping and other tamping operation functions.
