The rail grinding operation group consists of 10 people, the specific division of labour is as follows:
1 person as the operation leader, co-ordination of pre-operation workload survey, on-site command and task allocation;
1 person using angle grinder, responsible for rail joints and turnout centre grinding, polishing;
2 people to help him to adjust the position of the equipment when the grinding machine passes through the turnout centre, to avoid damage to the rails;
1 person to operate the turnout grinder to carry out the task of grinding the fat side;
The remaining 5 people work together to complete the grinding operation. The remaining 5 people operate the turnout grinding machine and work together to complete the grinding operation.

During the grinding operation, the 6 grinding machines are operated in sequence: the first one activates the turnout grinding machine and gives priority to the grinding of the fat side; the following 5 fine grinding machines are operated one after another according to the pre-allocated angles.
The angle of rail grinding is controlled in the range of -10 degrees to 52 degrees, and the operation rules for the conversion of grinding angle are explained as follows:


The grinding angles of the outsourced grinding team (5 fine grinders) are distributed as follows:
1. The first fine grinder is mainly for grinding the gauge angle, so that the wheel tread and the stress point of the rail is in the 0-degree position (the light belt is centred) at an angle of (-10, -8, -6, -2, 0).
2. The second fine grinding machine is mainly to carry out the fish scale wound, cracks, falling block grinding, the angle is (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10).
3. The third fine grinder is mainly for rail surface light belt grinding, the angle is (10, 12, 13, 16, 20).
4. The fourth fine grinding machine is mainly for rail expansion grinding, the angle is (20, 26, 32, 42, 52).
5. The fifth fine grinding machine is mainly for grinding the more damaged parts, the angle is (4, 6, 8, 10, 12).

The 5 fine grinding machines start from the front downslope joint and advance along the direction of the back of the turnout to 15 metres outside the joint after the centre of the turnout.
During the grinding period, the operator needs to observe the surface condition of the rails in real time through visual and manual inspection.
If it is found that the grinding effect is not as expected, according to the preset angle parameter, the grinding method should be used back and forth to continue the operation until the defects such as fish scale injury, spalling and falling off of the rail surface are eliminated.
