Method of adjusting the switch tip of compound turnout

It is not easy to adjust the density of the compound turnout on site. Here is my experience in adjusting the density of the compound turnout tip:

1、 First, measure and master the squareness of the turnout and the vertical deviation between the two ends of the side of the switch machine and the stock rail, whether the vertical deviation between the two ends of each pole and the stock rail is within the standard range, and whether the opening of the four switch rails of the turnout is standard. Then shake the switch, check the two main switch rails or two pairs of switch rails to see whether they are closely aligned, whether the pressure is uniform, and whether there is jamming. Check whether the sharp base rail of track maintenance is in good condition. If there is any problem with the sharp base rail, notify the track maintenance to make it meet the standard.

2、 Adjust the turnout not to stick tightly. Before adjustment, loosen the screws of the main and auxiliary indicating rods to make the indicating rods free from force. When adjusting the active rod, loosen the screws of the auxiliary actuating rod to make it free from force, and then adjust the active rod. When the two sharp rails of the active rod are adjusted closely and the pressure is uniform, fasten the screws of the auxiliary actuating rod to connect them tightly. Adjust the two sharp rails of the auxiliary actuating rod to closely and when the two sharp rails of the auxiliary actuating rod are adjusted closely and the pressure is uniform, Carry out the hand-operated switch to observe the fixed and reverse positions of the switch, and after it is in good condition, notify the signal building to carry out the single operation switch test to confirm that the switch is in good condition.

3、 Connect and fasten the upper main indicator rod for adjustment. After adjustment, connect and fasten the secondary indicator rod. Check whether there is any change in the indicator gap, and adjust the indicator gap. In the process of adjustment, if the tip of the switch rail is not close or the close pressure is high, the inner and outer extension and retraction can be properly adjusted at the outer end of the main or auxiliary indicator post. Finally, move the switch test and observe that the four switch rails are close to each other and the gap positioning is in the standard.
